"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

- Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke

and encourage with great patience and careful instruction."

-2 Timothy 4:2

Pastor Henry O. Patterson III was called by God to preach his word in 2009. After years of running from his calling he inevitably began to run towards his destiny. Apostle Vennie Davis ordained him in 2010 as an elder at New Life Begins Ministry. As God proved himself to the people he was quickly elevated to the Assistant Pastor in late 2012. In July 2014, Pastor H.O. Patterson III accepted God's new divine assignment as being elected to serve as the Senior Pastor of New Life Begins Ministry. In October of 2015 Pastor H.O. Patterson III was appointed as the State director of Pastors for the Full Gospel Baptist church Fellowship State of South Carolina. He is a people person and if you ever met him you know he has a genuine heart and personality and is always willing to help anyone.

Pastor H.O. Patterson III is the youngest of four siblings born to the late Henry O. Patterson Jr and Fannie Patterson, of Ft Jackson, SC. He is a dedicated husband and father to (wife) Makeda Patterson, (children) Darren Patterson, Henry O. Patterson IV, and Portrait Patterson. He began his relationship with Christ as a young child while attending Westside Missionary Baptist Church. Within this house of God, he participated in several of the children's church events and attended the church-learning academy. As an adolescent he joined the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Reverend M.L. Jackson in Hinesville, Georgia. During this time, he served as a member of the church's youth choir and also assisted in various additional roles as needed throughout the church.

Upon graduating from High School, Pastor H.O. Patterson received a football scholarship to Middle Georgia College. He then transferred to Morris Brown College where he studied Criminal Justice. While serving in the United States Marine Corps, he did three tours of duties in Iraq. He joined the Georgia Army National Guard in 2009 until present time. He has received countless awards for his workmanship and leadership abilities from his dedicated service to this country.

After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia he was immediately embraced by Apostle Vennie Scott of New Life Begins Ministry. However, it was only after a deep life changing encounter with God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit that Pastor H.O. Patterson III felt compelled to turn his life over to God and acknowledge the call  of God to teach, preach and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His favorite quote is taken from Bishop M.L. Jackson, "If you do it right, then GOD will bless it Right".
